Program Purpose

Target Students: Coaches, athletes, chaplains, youth leaders, and Christian ministers called to serve in sports and athletic environments.

Program Objectives

Graduates of this program will be equipped to:

  • Provide Christ-centered chaplaincy to athletes and sports teams.
  • Understand the spiritual, emotional, and ethical needs within sports culture.
  • Serve effectively in schools, colleges, leagues, or professional athletic organizations.
  • Integrate faith, counseling, and sports psychology in pastoral support.

Graduation Requirements

  • Successful completion of all 10 courses (30 credits)
  • Minimum grade of C (or 2.0 GPA) in each course
  • Completion of supervised practicum and reflection paper
