Academic Dean

The Office of the Academic Dean safeguards and advances the academic integrity, spiritual vitality, and missional distinctives of Shiloh College.

The office provides strategic oversight for academic programs, faculty development, curriculum quality, student success, research initiatives, digital learning, partnerships, and regulatory compliance.

Mandate and Vision

The Academic Dean’s office exists to strengthen Shiloh College’s academic mission while remaining grounded in the College’s statement of faith and operating within applicable educational and regulatory frameworks. Its purpose is to ensure that every program, platform, and partnership bearing the Shiloh College name reflects academic excellence, Christian character, and practical ministry relevance.

Core Responsibilities

Academic Strategy

Develops and implements academic plans, program development, renewal, and institutional academic direction.

Curriculum & Quality Assurance

Oversees program reviews, learning outcomes, curriculum standards, and Christian worldview integration.

Faculty Affairs

Supports recruitment, orientation, mentoring, peer observation, and ongoing faculty development.

Student Success

Promotes advising, pastoral care, career guidance, retention, progression, and graduation readiness.

Research & Innovation

Encourages faculty-student research, academic publishing, community impact, and innovation projects.

Digital Learning

Supports online, hybrid, micro-credential, LMS, and data-informed learning delivery systems.
